Razorback Transit : ウィキペディア英語版 | Razorback Transit
The University of Arkansas Razorback Transit System operates nine weekday routes, five reduced routes, and two football game weekend routes on the campus and vicinity of the University. Razorback Transit provides both fixed route bus and paratransit service. All service is free. Standard service includes eleven fixed routes serving the campus of the University of Arkansas in addition to other destinations within Fayetteville, Arkansas. ==History== The bus system at the University of Arkansas came from humble beginnings. In 1979, two decommissioned school buses were driven around campus picking up students or faculty that needed rides. There were no fixed routes until 1980 when the Facilities Management office acquired five more buses and established five fixed routes. This system was named the University of Arkansas Transit and almost fell victim to budget cuts in 1988. The system asked for federal assistance and was reborn as Razorback Transit in 1989.
